Our Snowfall Machine is one of our most popular products during the festive period, but is also available to hire for events all year round. One of the questions we get asked most about the snow machine is “How long does the snow last?”. The time for which the fake snow can last depends on a wide variation of factors, including:
Volume of Snowfall:
Our Snowfall Machines are extremely versatile and can create a gentle fall of snow or a heavy blast—almost comparable to a foam party! The amount of snow you produce will directly correspond to the amount of snow fluid you will use throughout your event.
Prior to your event, a member of our team will be in touch to find out about the requirements for the snow at your event to help plan how much snow you will need.
Duration of Snowfall:
It goes without saying that if you are continuously running the Snowfall machine, you will be using a lot of snow! To help your snow last longer, we would recommend operating in intervals. The Snowfall machines have an interval setting so that you can set it to run for your desired duration, as well as setting the amount of time between snowfalls, too!
Location of Snowfall Machine:
Depending on the context of your event, where you position the snowfall machine will make an impact on the fake snow effect you get. For a lifelike effect, we recommend placing the snowfall machine high up onto a balcony or out of a window, so that it can fall from a height. Where this is not possible, we can also make the fake snowfall from above by using our snowfall machine tripods. A member of our team can set these up to face upwards, meaning that the snow will then fall down to your event from above.
You must consider weather conditions if your event is outside, as high winds or rain can minimise the effect of the snowfall machine!
Hiring an artificial Snowfall Machine is an easy way to add a magical touch to your events all year round. We offer Snowfall Machine hire nationwide, if you would like to learn more about hiring from Odin Events, get in touch here.
