The Canary Wharf Ice Rink is a significant seasonal attraction in London, offering one of the city's longest-running ice skating experiences during the winter period. That’s why we were honoured to be invited by Bloomberg, this year's rink sponsor, to take part in their launch day event.
Bloomberg set out to create an engaging launch day for the rink, with the main goal being to solidify their presence as the sponsor for the season. To help Bloomsberg achieve this, they opted for a bespoke Inflatable Snow Globe, complete with a customised backdrop.
Opting for a customised backdrop meant that Bloomberg were able to fully integrate the Snow Globe into their branding for the event, by using cohesive graphics and designs throughout.
Strategically placed in the foyer, the Bloomberg Snow Globe became an immediate focal point, drawing in guests and adding a wintery, welcoming atmosphere to the event. Its prominent positioning ensured that visitors couldn't miss it, adding to the inviting and immersive experience for all who attended. Whether guests were stepping inside for a fun photo opportunity or watching from a distance, the Snow Globe played a key role in setting the scene for the launch.
The Inflatable Snow Globe is not just a unique photo opportunity for events, but also serves as a marketing tool, making sure your brand is present, Bloomberg ensured that every photo taken inside the Inflatable Snow Globe became a shareable piece of content, amplifying their visibility across social media. This clever use of user-generated content helped to organically spread brand awareness, proving that experiential marketing can leave a lasting impact. Through this creative activation, Bloomberg successfully established a strong and memorable presence at the event.
