When we were approached by a wildlife park who wanted to enhance their guests experience over the half term to give them the edge over competitors, we knew exactly what they needed to achieve this. We wanted to provide equipment that would help them achieve a range of different goals, from providing photo opportunities that encourage UGC, to activities that promote a longer dwell time for families.
We visited the park prior to the event to set it all up in their event space so that their media team could create content to help with the marketing of their event. For the activation, we provided the Inflatable Toboggan Slide, the Giant Inflatable Snow Globe and the Snowboard Simulator. As well as the activities, we also provided some winter-themed props such as the Silver Throne and Giant Snow Owl to create an additional photo opportunity. The mix of physical activities and photo opportunities meant that the activation appealed to a wide audience, appealing to families with both young and older children, encouraging active participation and social sharing. Guests could engage in thrilling experiences like the Snowboard Simulator and Inflatable Toboggan Slide while also capturing memorable moments together inside of the Giant Snow Globe. This combination created an immersive winter wonderland atmosphere, enhancing engagement and maximizing the overall impact of the event.
By introducing additional activities to the traditional wildlife park experience, the wildlife park was able to not only increase dwell time over the half term period, but also increase ticket sales by offering an enhanced experience for customers. By hosting these activities, the wildlife park were able to give their attraction a competitive edge over other local attractions The attractions encouraged longer dwell times, with many visitors enjoying multiple activities in the discovery center throughout the day. The success of the event demonstrated the value of seasonal experiences in driving attendance and enhancing visitor satisfaction.
