Did you know that we have a great range of snow machines available for all types of events?

ProFlake, the fluid used by Odin Events contains IPA (Isopropanol) which is the key ingredient in the hand sanitizer designed to kill COVID-19. The concentration of IPA in ProFlake concentrate (Concentrate) is sufficient to kill enveloped virus’s of the Covid 19 type.

ProFlake is an award winning product developed by Bristol University and Snow Business with the aid of a grant from the UK Government. It is manufactured by Wessex Chemicals. Wessex Chemicals also produce hand sanitizer for the NHS which contains the very same Isopropanol (but at stronger concentrations).

For Covid-19 to get into the snowflake, it would have to already be in the air. In such a case, the falling snow effect has not added to the risk. The snowflake produced by the falling snow machine doesn’t contain enough concentration of IPA to actually sterilise the virus or the surfaces it settled upon, but it will certainly not help the virus.
